Support that works with your brain, not against it

Neurodivergent-led coaching, assistive technology training and speaking for work, life and relationships.

What we can offer you

Divergently Being is a neurodivergent-led space founded by Sonay and James, bringing together coaching, assistive technology training, speaking, writing and honest conversations about neurodivergent life.

We support neurodivergent people through work, life, relationships, systems and big transitions.

After becoming a mum for the first time, Sonay saw how little support there is for neurodivergent mums during pregnancy, birth and early motherhood. She is now bringing her coaching, advocacy and lived experience to neurodivergent pregnancy, birth and motherhood.

Our mission is simple: to create support that works with neurodivergent brains, not against them.

Why Divergently Being exists

Neurodivergent people are often given support that asks them to become more organised, more resilient, more productive or more “normal”, without asking whether the environment, the tools or the expectations are part of the problem.

Divergently Being starts somewhere else. We look at the person, the brain, the nervous system, the context and the actual life around them.

Because support only works when it fits the reality someone is living in. Neurodivergent people do not need fixing. Support should start with understanding, not judgement.

You do not need to know the answer yet

You might be burnt out, overwhelmed, stuck with tools that do not fit, or unsure what kind of support would actually help. These are the main ways we can start.

I need support for myself

If you are navigating burnout, overwhelm, executive function, emotional regulation, work, identity, relationships, parenting or life transitions, coaching may be a good place to start.

This support is for neurodivergent adults who want to understand what is going on and find ways forward that feel more realistic.

I need help with tools or technology

If you have assistive technology, workplace software, AI tools or digital systems but do not know how to make them work for you, James can help turn tools into something usable.

This can include Access to Work software, planning systems, notes, task management, dictation, text-to-speech and everyday digital workflows.

I need joined-up support

If coaching strategies, apps, software or workplace adjustments feel useful but disconnected, Divergently Reset brings Sonay and James together.

It connects the coaching side with the practical systems side, so support does not stay theoretical.

I am not sure yet

You might know something is not working, without knowing whether you need coaching, technology support, joined-up support or something else.

That is completely fine. You can explain what is going on, even if it is messy, half-formed or hard to put into words.

Support should fit real people, real brains and real lives.

That is the thread running through everything we do.
