Being neurodiverse can mean many things, and takes in such things as dyslexia, autism, ADHD, dyspraxia, and others.
We are both autistic. James was diagnosed at the age of 16 whilst Sonay was diagnosed later in life at 32. They have both received late diagnoses of ADHD, James of the inattentive type and Sonay the combined type.
Like some others, we call this being AuDHD for short. Like with anything, such as being tall, there are some advantages and disadvantages.

At Divergently Being, we offer coaching for people who are ADHD, autistic, or both (AuDHD).
We'll be there are your support band. We've been through what you're going through, and we know how you feel.
Sessions are entirely at your pace, focussing on what you want to talk about, not what you're told.

Sonay and James were always told they talked too much.
Harsh, no?
It's true though, we were both told this from a very young age.
We never did shut up though, and turned it into an appetite for public speaking which we still have.
Have a look at our professional speaking page if you want to know more.
We promise it won't be a one-sided conversation.
James and Sonay are co-hosts of the Divergently Married podcast.
They found the podcast to dispel myths and stereotypes about autistic, AuDHD and ADHD people, discuss aspects of their lives, and what's relevant in the news to them.
They also mention their dog Sylvie quite a lot.
For more information, please check out the podcast page.
Sonay and James co-founded Divergently Being whilst Sonay was already a self-employed lawyer
This perfectly led to the creation of a sibling venture, Divergently Legal, for legal services, and coaching and speaking services for the legal profession.
If that is what you’re looking for, head on over to the Divergently Legal website.
